Nonwoven textiles

Nonwoven textiles (nonwovens) are materials that resemble fabrics but are not woven the same way, and instead feature fibres that are randomly distributed rather than having a warp and weft. Tematex is a range of nonwoven fabrics — in different weights, and hence with different puncture resistance attributes — made from recycled polyester fibres, available in either black or white, used in flat green roof applications, designed to provide mechanical protection for the waterproofing layer.
