Drainage geocomposites

The term drainage geocomposites refers to a type of geosynthetic product used for drainage and comprising a synthetic element laminated with one or two nonwovens. TeMa offers three types of drainage products: monofilaments, studded membrane plus non-weave geotextile, and extruded nets.

Draining geocomposites with monofilaments consist of an internal core obtained by extrusion of synthetic monofilaments, entangled and welded at the contact points, coupled by two filtering geotextiles.

The draining geocomposites with studded membranes are made of HDPE sheets and studs of various heights (8, 10 or 20mm), coupled to a non-woven filtering geotextile. These products also perform the mechanical protection function of waterproofing membranes (e.g. bituminous membranes on retaining walls).

Extruded nets are also used for drainage products. These are draining products consisting of a cross-linked two-wire HDPE geonet, coupled with two PP non-woven geotextiles.
