When dealing with stone flooring, one of the most important issues to be addressed is footfall noise. When laying a new floor, acoustic insulation is essential to ensure occupant comfort.

More specifically, with the floating screed technique, you can create a bed of resilient material designed to separate the screed from the adjacent building elements completely, thus preventing the propagation of sound waves. TeMa has T-Silence under-screed membranes - and relevant accessories - for this very purpose, to address the root cause of acoustic issues in horizontal partitions.
